Although I did say Pacquiao would win if DLH was shot, DLH did look shot so I have something going for me.

I picked the reverse result of what occurred (minus the quitting), although I give DLH a little credit for actualizing his failure by messing around with his build and weight loss excessively. Coming in at 147 after rehydration?

Bad sign. Pacquiao brought everything he had, and I wanted him to win because the result would be hilarious (in reality it ended up being more pathetic and thus somewhat underwhelming).

I will still maintain however that, aside from many of the general points Roach was making, a fair amount of his pre-fight comments were half-crazed and this was a vendetta fight for his own purposes.

hey, i was wrong and i'm delighted. I lost respect for oscar for
wanting to fight manny in the first place. There were too many good welters out there for a legit match. Cotto,margarito,mosley ,winky but no , he wanted a featherweight
he already tried to fool fans with his fight with forbes. I never
dreamed manny would win but not only did he win he made oscar quit. He should have been ashamed of himself not so much for the beating but for wanting to fight smaller men when there are so many excellent opponents at 147. I hope he is done now unless he can find a bantam weight to beat. Rodhook

I was wrong as well. I predicted that De La Hoya would win by UD. I didn't think he would KO Pac because of Pac's speed but what I didn't take into account was De La Hoya's declining speed. I was very disappointed (I'm a big DLH fan) but I have a lot of respect for Pac and his performance, which might of been the best I have ever seen from him.

I underestimated Manny's chin and defense and overestimated Oscars power...

so I was not too confident like I usually am on my predictions of ....
