It won't effect his win over Oscar that much IMO because you and I both know that styles make fights. Floyd is a defensive minded fighter who preferred to do enough to win, rather than go all out and look for the KO against DLH. Even if he wanted to KO DLH he wouldn't have been able to since Oscar has a very solid chin and Mayweather has little power at 147+.

With all things considered, I feel Manny's win over Oscar is far more impressive than Floyd's win.
