All Manny proved tonight was that Oscar is old, and that young fighters can beat old fighters. It's not like we didn't already know that before. Margo on the other hand is much closer to his prime and wouldn't have as much problems getting his punches off against Manny as Oscar did.

He gets credit... but don't go thinking he could destroy everyone in his path just because he beat the old Golden Boy. If De La Hoya had been in his prime the result would have been much different I suspect.... and guys like Hatton, Cotto, Floyd, and MARGARITO are much closer to their absolute best than Oscar was tonight. ****, a much smaller man named Juan Manuel Marquez just beat Manny in many people's eyes even though he didn't get credit for the win. Why? Because again, unlike Oscar, Marquez can still fight.
