    Some of you are hypocrites.

First i need to say that i was rooting for Pacquiao but i was still sure De la Hoya was going to beat him. I'm not even a Pacquiao fan, but i prefer him to Oscar. Some people on these boards were predicting that Pacquiao was going to be demolished.

I'm not naming anybody but here are some quotes i have seen on these boards for the past month or so in regard to tonight's fight. Not pointing fingers here but if the hat fits, wear it.

    R.I.P. manny pacquiao
Oscar will carry Pacquiao for a couple of rounds to make it look competitive.
Oscar is still a legit top fighter.
Manny will be too afraid of punching half way through the fight... if he gets there.
    Pac will be KO'd tonite.
Those are only a few, look at threads for the past week and you'll know what i mean.

Now, Oscar took a beating tonight. Look at some of the comments from after the fight:

Oscar was shot before fighting Manny.
    Oscar threw the fight.
oscar just didn't take his training/opponent serious enough.
De la Hoya was weight drained.
So what happened? Wasn't he supposed to seriously hurt Pacquiao? Oh wait, he became shot just before the fight started right? Wasn't Oscar too big for Pacquiao?

How about you just admit that Manny shocked everybody and gave De la Hoya a beating?

After that you people dare call yourself boxing fans? Hypocrites.

I know i am going to get hit with some red and get a load of negative comments. I don't give a ****. This is not only for this fight, it happens all the time and it's disgusting.

    My 2 cents.

Oscar is still the man and he should be remembered for his past wars. The man Manny fought tonight was nothing more than a shadow of a once great boxer.

The torch was surely passed tonight.

I have come to see that the universally, predictions on these forums are almost always wrong.

Whatever is the universal prediction of a fight, just bet on the opposite happening and you will probably be right.

Now that so many are saying Pacquiao will destroy Hatton, I'm pretty sure just the opposite will actually happen.

I dont agree with the first comments because at this stage in DLH's career i think any elite boxer would present a danger to him. I give manny props for taking the risk by fighting a larger opponent but I think it's pretty obvious to everyone that dlh is a shell of his former self and should call it a career.
