In reality he really won both fights with Pac. He belongs up there with Chavez, Morales, Ricardo Lopez, and MAB.

This makes JMM a GREAT fighter, IMO.
styles make fights... that's all it says... i doubt jmm can fight at 147 effectively

The only real thing this fight proves about Marquez is that trainers will only take you so far.

You can throw in Nacho, Angelo, D'Amato, Arcel, hell you could even bring in Jack Blackburn and it won't mean a damn thing if the fighter doesn't have it.

So long Oscar and good riddance.

Edit: How the hell did I not include Eddie Futch? /shame

It say nothing, Marquez didn`t fight last night.

People seems to forget that for Pac-Marquez 2, Pacquiao was struggling to make the weight and the fight before too, again Barrera 2.

At 140lbs, Pacquaio will murder Marquez. Pac is still not at his prime yet, he's still improving after each fight.

Pac should have lost both fights. You and I both know that.

I am not a Pac hater, just stating the facts.
FACT Manny beat Marquez WEIGHT DRAINED.

FACT Marquez only beats Manny via style matchup and even then couldn't do it.

FACT Marquez would never have done what Manny just did to DLH EVER. Marquez isn't fast enough. Marquez might counter his way to victory but thats it. And even then we won't know if Marquez would have been able to get in Oscars Jab...you'd need speed for that.

So IDK Manny seems to be greater than Marquez, it's just that Marquez has the right style and chose the right times to fight Manny.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a great fighter in my book. Like many said... You can argue about the two fights that he won, but in the books Manny won... Boxing fans think otherwise.
