Yeah, styles make fights, and this would be a bad matchup for Ricky. It's not like Sr. molded him into something drastically new - he's still Ricky who likes to drop his right guard as he does that left hook-straight right combo. Against a powerful and quick southpaw? With a crunching straight left? Forget about it.

Not only that, hatton was not his usual self in that fight.

I guess Ill just bring Pacquiao getting KO'd twice in his career as an excuse for him to lose to Hatton.
Sure, try it. And while, we're at it, let's try to wonder if Lazcano can do even half of what Pacman did to Oscar hmmm.

Lazcano? whe cares about him? Even so he probably would still beat the Oscar we saw today. Anyways what does Lazcano have to do with Hatton and Pacquiao?

Agreed. That's a strange bit of "Reasoning"

thats not the key difference, the key difference is that Pac won't have a fat bald ref to protect him

because Hatton is quick on his feet himself - Oscar stood off Pacquiao and tried to box him? wtf was he trying to do? he should've just mauled him

hatton shouldn't even think about it,
the only guy for pac-man is mayweather right now.
he dominated big time. he didn't slow up one bit. it looked like he could of went 20 rounds...
kudos to the philipinos and the pac-man..

Hatton had a much bigger shock when he was ringside for Mayweather-Gatti. I'll never forgot the expression on his face. Cotto too.
Hatton was in the process of signing a big money fight with Gatti. What you saw was his meal-ticket disappearing.

Duh, JMM would make Hatton look silly, so don't even go there. Hatton's B-level fighter at best.
Hatton is a two weight titleholder, long time linear champ, only lost at a higher weight against the pound for pound best in the world and is on most pound for pound top ten lists. Who the hell is an A level fighter? Superman?

Like the way Hatton destroyed journeyman Lazcano?
You mean the one he beat ten rounds to two? Sure, why not.
