Oscar Joto is such a genius that he thought the best way to take a dive was to take eigth rounds of beating and then quit. That's one genius I don't ever want to learn from.

There are easier ways to die, bro. Like 2PAC said, a coward dies a thousand times.

Oscar Joto had all the talent and skills to be truly one of the greats, the problem was, when push came to shove, he couldn't handle it. He decided to keep his marbles in his pants, rather than let them drag to the ground.

To put it another way, if Oscar Joto was a football team, and it was 4th and goal, he wouldn't be the type to dig his cleats in.

I wouldn't want Oscar Joto to back me in a street fight. Because when the enemy b*m rushes yo ass, and you look back, his ass would already be runnin' the other way.

There's two types of people, THE FLIGHT or Fight, where do you think Joto stands

I'm not taking away anything from manny. He deserves to be the torch bearer of this sport because he is the type of fighter that will bring in more fans and more money. If there was any fight to put him in that position it was this fight and he won how he had to win to become that boxing hero.
If you think that an oscar vs hatton fight was going to generate huge money you are ******ed. After this fight there really wasn't any big money fights for oscar. The plan to fight cotto was his original plan but when he got beat then he had to find someone else and that guy was manny. The last couple of years has been a set up to set someone else up as the face of boxing and tonight was the culmination of it. Now oscar can promote several big fights and make millions of dollars instead of fighting unpopular fighters.
The thing i noticed is that de la hoya just gave manny that side of his face to hit. If you watch carefully its only the left side of his face where cleans punches are landed. Now most of you say why would he let himself take a beating like that? Well if anyone here has ever been punched in the face the forehead and eye/cheek area is the easiest place to take a punch. You notice he was never hit on the chin or nose. De la hoya was never EVER hurt in that fight at all but he would turtle up into the corner as if he had been hit a monster punch and was on shakey legs.
Also notice that there was almost no clinches in this fight. You would think that if oscar was getting pummled he would try clinching at least onse during an exchange. Oscar was just a punching bag out there.
Again let me say that manny deserves everything he has earned even what happened today. He deserves the fame money and glory because he is a great guy and great fighter. BUT that fight was a farce. Filipinos should be proud of manny and treasure him because he is a great fighter. Boxing fans should be disgusted by tonight and not support Golden boy promotions. Don't forget that promoters don't care about legacy or pride when it comes to making fights. All they care about is money.

In THAT!! round......when Pacquiao was beating the crap out of Oscar i started to think this is a fix, and when i logged into NSB this morning and saw this thread i soon realised i was not the only one who felt the same way, and for me its NO coincidence.

If it really is the case that the fight was rigged then Oscar just lost any respect i had for him as a fighter.

you guys are all idiots if you think this was rigged.

rigged would be if manny was winning and all of a sudden oscar ko's him.

oscar wouldn't rig a fight to lose.

oscar-hatton would make more money for him than anything else.

get your heads out of your asses.

oscar lost because he overtrained and was weightdrained plus he's shot. not because he took a dive.

you guys are ******. i lost a lot of respect for some of you on here that i thought were knowledgable people.

he obviously threw taht ****........he jsut dropped from my top 3 faves to below hopkins who i despise.......

i cant believe how he didnt care for the humiliation......thats having 0 pride......at least with the hopkins dive, he didnt have a chance, and i used to think he decided to take the dive mid-through the fight......now i got confirmation that it was staged from the beginning..........

im not gonna **** on his past accomplishments, but i hate the guy now, **** him...
