Just watched the fight replay and figure Nick54 rapped it up pretty tightly (above).

Mitchell looked pensive. Was that little kitty kat paw of a jab supposed to keep Kostya on the outside? It looked like something the "Lazy" version of Lennox Lewis would offer. Couple that with a complete lack of mobility and the KO was inevitable.

We can give Kostya some praise, 'cause he looked prepared and ready to take on the world. But, let's be smart about this too. The Sharmba who showed up last night and fought that ****** fight was custom-made for Kostya.

he fought like an amateure. His legs looked nervous when he got hit clean. I saw no boxing skills....none.

He shouldn't have fought his tune-up fight against a no-name no talent opponent. He didn't train properly and did not fight good competition.

              LOL!

Funny who Sharmba had been active and beating journeymen like Tackie and Stewart and was considered the uncrowned champion going into the fight, and because he gets owned it means he got 'old".

Did the poster of this topic see Kostya's punches and his form. He was amazing. To chalk this up to possibly being Sharmba, THE NO. 1 CONTENDER, getting old is lame

Exactly! No excuses . . . no other reason.

                    without question
Shamba will regret his choice to try to stand and fight with tszyu
he will always regret that he didnt box
he tryed to prove he was tough enough to take kostas power and proved he couldnt and that he isnt smart enough to recognize when he is fighting with the wrong strategy
Great performance by kosta after almost 2yrs off

I agree ... Sharmba was just outclassed. It's really takes an exceptional fighter to be able to come back from a one sided loss like the one Sharmba took the first time they fought. He just doesn't have the type of style to be able to beat Tszyu.
