Did mitchell get old overnight?

There were plenty of question marks put on Kostya Tszyu before the fight regarding his age, but let's not forget Sharmba Mitchell is 34 years old himself. Not many boxers that rely on their slickness are still at the top of their game at that age.

I'm not trying to make excuses for Mitchell or taking anything away from Kostya, he was brilliant, but it was rather surprising that he was able to land so early and so frequently.

It was also surprising that Mitchell was wobble-legged as soon as he copped his first punch. Is their any chance that he got old overnight in this fight?

One thing's for sure, he did better on one leg than he did on two

mitchell still has a future in the sport and is not old. kosta just fought the better fight and showed that he belongs at the top of his division.

Sharmba isnt old....he won his last 5 fight's before the rematch with Tszyu. Kostya isnt usually known as a fast starter (last night was kinda new for him in a way) but he's always been known for his power! I was amazed that Mitchell kept getting back up and lasted as long as he did.
Sharmba didnt fight the smartest fight I've seen him in yet either. I got the impression that he was too eager, too excited to finally be getting that fight he's been after almost 4 yr's. and he really didnt execute the same plan he usually does.
Add that to Kostyas power and accuracy and I think it's more about that than anybody being old...just my opinion
