Would Oscar's fans cross oceans in the same way that Ricky Hatton and, to a lesser extent, Joe Calzaghe fans do?

Olympics, being attractive, and having a congenial personality. Even when he curses it sounds incredibly innocent. That's why I thought he was a drag queen. Or has some weird secrets in his closet.

Personality wise he is boring as can be. But he made up for it with his Antonio Banderas-esque looks and of course winning a gold medal.

The average mexican fighter is forunate enough if he can draw big with the mexican-american community. Oscar though has the gay community behind him, the white business man type fan and a huge chunk of the mexican boxing fans.

He's got a lil bit of every demographic. Kinda like Mike Tyson. Although Tyson attracted blood thirsty, Ko's hungry fans from latino's to asians to caucasians. No nationality he didn't have watching his fights.

no way, different culture. People in europe support theirs no matter what. Over here we hate on ours.
