I think Oscar will win convincingly though.

By thier way of thinking, Collazo softened Hatton up for Floyd, 9 opponents prior to Floyd softened Baldomir up for Floyd, Sturm/Tito/Bhop/Mosley softened Oscar up for Floyd, Baldo softed Zab up for Floyd, etc..........

"If Pacquiao wins then Mayweather isn't as great as people make out."

This has to be one of the more illogical statements I've ever read on this message board.

This fight has nothing, nada to do with Mayweather-DLH. If Pacquiao wins then I guess Tito Trinidad, Shane Mosley and Bernard Hopkins aren't as good as we thought either.

Sometimes it's really better to think about what you say before you just write whatever thought enters your brain.

Mayweather beat DLH at 154 in his first fight at 154. That was a great feat; however, that fight was it's own entity. Pac can KO DLH with the first punch he throws and it will have no effect on how good Floyd Mayweather was.

              Rewatch the fight again please

BTW Hopkins is Calzaghes best win, yet he lost to Taylor 2 and RJJ. What does that say about Calzaghe and also he was 43

By all indications, Oscar should win based on his height, weight, and reach advantage, not to mention experience in championship bouts.

If he loses this one horribly, then Manny will look much better than Floyd doing it.

The reason this question is brought up is due to the enormous size disadvantage Pac is facing. When Floyd faced Oscar, Floyd was only coming up from 1 weight class (147) at a weight that he showed he can be a force at. Floyd started his career at 126, while Pac started at 106. Pac's last fight was at 135, which was his one and only fight at that weight. He's completely skipping 140 and going straight to 147 to fight against a guy who will most likely come in around 160 on fight night. Given those physical disadvantages, if Pac can win in a decisive manner, of course people are going to question Floyd's performance vs Pac's.
