I think Pac has got this one. I mean in size obviously DLH will cause problems but I just watched Pac Vs Barrera and Barrera was a lot bigger than Pac in that, I know he wasnt as big as DLH is now but he was still the bigger man and Pac won pretty well in that fight. There is noway that he is going to KO DLH no matter how much I would like to see it.

      Beg to Differ

Albeit Manny is a warrior, but De La Hoya will win this w/out a doubt. Let's put aside the KO predictions people, Shane, Trinidad, Vargas, Quartey, Etc.... Do you really think Manny Pac has a stronger strike at this weight then the names listed above?

Absolutely not, Manny isn't a one hit wonder but if he hits Oscar at will like he did to Diaz then prolly a knock out is possible. Lets get it on.

Styles make fights. None of those listed above fights even close to how Pacquiao fights. Pacman is used to fighting orthodox fighters while dela Hoya hasn't fought a lefty in years, and to make things more interesting, Pacquiao isn't just a lefty, he's an "unorthodox" southpaw. He maybe the same size as the lefties Oscar has faced but he's isn't the sleek defense-oriented boxers that Camacho and Whitaker were. Whether Pacman's left-handed offensive style will give dela Hoya problems, we can only find out on fight night.

Sounds like your fishing son. If any one of the names I listed Hit Diaz, It would have been a Massacre. I give Manny credit for stepping up in weight no doubt, but let's keep things in perspective, this is not a dream bout. Manny throws punches in all angles, with a devastating left, but if you think for one second, that he's gonna do what no other boxer has done & knock out De La Hoya, you should be banned. If anything Floyd should have done it. PBF used his small size & speed to an advantage. Pac is a warrior, but he's not a master of the sweet science, that will be his downfall. A Straight left can only get you so far. IMO Pretty Boy Floyd is still the Pound 4 Pound King Of The World.

Did I say Pacman knock out Diaz by one punch? It was the accumulation of punches that knock him out.

this fight is all on Pac. he is doing what De La Hoya did stepping up
against hopkins. the difference is de la hoya found a soft spot to lie down on
and take his money and being able to say he 'faced' hopkins when
he really just went in the ring with him, he didn't really fight him.
is Pac going to go in and be happy with the pay packet and saying
he 'faced de la hoya' or is he going to be a throwback fighter
and fight and win like they did in the old days ... all the trainers
saying he has no chance hopefull wont put pac in the mindset
that if he shows up then thats enough. it isnt' enough. he
has to win big and jump over mayweather to be # 1
then i am sure mayweather will want to fight him ....
its all on Pac, does he want to be good or great ?
in boxing anything can happen hopefully Pac takes
advantage of this chance , mayweather will be calling out for him
i am sure if he wins big.

                lefthook I agree with you .. tko11 ...

Just the assumption of a knockout in general is ridiculous. Manny has never fought an opponent over the height of 5"7 in his life. Do you think facing someone 5"11 with a left hook won't **** up his strategy? Hopefully he's sparring with taller fellas.
