I remember reading he will train Shane for The Margarito fight. I already think Shane has a good chance in this fight but would the guidance of ****m Richardson be the icing on the cake to make the upset? He put together a masterful game plan with Hopkins to beat Pavlik and I wonder if some of the same observations will be made when studying Tony's past fights. Cotto fought a good fight but also laid a blue print of things not to do against Margarito. I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks this will make a difference.
Is ****m Richardson Shane Mosley's X factor?

I don't think so. Maybe a time machine.
Richardson provided a good game plan for Hopkins, but Mosley is no Hopkins. He's not the technically sound, defensive wizard that Hopkins is. He's more reliant on his athletic gifts. I don't think the trainer really matters at this stage, although I'm sure he'll give better advice than "5 more rounds to go, power box him!" entering the 10th round.Comment

The chance is there for a Marg KO cuz SSM is all heart. Dude will brawl when he has skills to box cuz that's just the kinda fighter he is. I'm sure whoever trained him for this fight would put together a tactical strategy, but Marg is to ****in relentless to allow him that, and SSM won't mind sluggin it out. I expect a game effort from SSM but I think he's gonna get beaten up in this one.Comment

Bump.... I pose the question again. WAS Naszim Richardson the X factor? Good game plan and catching the wraps.
(About the wraps...I just wondering could that be why Marg starts late? The wraps get wet from sweat and harden? Gives him the advantage later in fights? Its a shame because even if he never used them before people will always question how long its been going on. At this point I really wonder.)Comment
