  • ESPN has given its prediction for Saturday...comments?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/twelverounds

Above is the link to ESPN's boxing site giving a breakdown (their opinion) on twelve factors for the fight which boxer has the advantage.

I agree with ESPN, but say round late in round 11....comments?

DLH is good at ending fights late.

They picked Pacquiao by KO? This is the dumbest prediction I've ever seen in my life. I can't believe even THEY are trying to sell the fight when they don't have to. This is a mismatch and has been since day one. Pacquiao has no chance in hell.

That's if he can keep up with Pac's pace. Floyd did absolutely nothing but play the ropes and counter from time to time, yet Oscar gassed out rather quickly. What will Oscar do when he's forced to fight a guy who brings the fight to him for the full 3 minutes of every round?

I'm really impressed with that page ESPN made. They did a great job breaking down the strengths/weaknesses of each fighter. I heard that since Wed Night Fights has been canceled, there will be much more focus on improving Friday night fights and the boxing website. There's the proof they meant it right there.

And I'm shocked they picked Pacquiao to win inside of 10 rounds, that's a very bold prediction. Good for them.

I just read that article and was pretty surprised how in depth it was for an ESPN boxing feature...

Hit him, and send him flying across the ring.

Floyd's speed and defence tires out opponents. It is draining to miss so many shots and have little success.

When a fighter is right in ur face and u can hit him and hurt him, u dont have time to become lethargic. Look at Oscars last fight.

With Pac he wont have to go looking for him.

They must have forgot Marg is a huge welter then, to think Cotto would easily win.
