I say he hits harder than Pacquiao by some distance.

      Definately hits harder than Arguello.

That shot that he caught Khan with would of put down Margarito.

He looked devastating, but lets remember it was super early in the contest so he would have been at peak power, no fatigue. Plus Amir's chin is hardly granite.

He may well become one of the pound for pound greatest punchers in the world in time, but I think its a bit early to say one of the hardest punching lightweights of all time considering he isn't even in world class yet!

          1. Prescott.
          2. Arguello.
          3. Duran.
          4. Khan.

I think that is a fair assessment, how would you have it then?.

Khan has won 14 out of his 18 fights by knockout.

He is going to be an all time great in the future. Ask Freddie Roach if you don't believe me.

Freddie Roach said Khan had the best jab he had ever seen, even better than De La Hoya's.

Freddie is going to work wonders for Khan's career just like he did for Tyson.

I sincerely hope Khan makes it to the top although being an all time great with his dubious punch resistance will be tough going. That said Thomas Hearns did it!

As for Amir's KO percentage, it really has little bearing on how hard he hits at a world level. He does seem to have great speed and power but its difficult to say how powerful he is on an all time basis.
