I think Oscar lost to Quartery and the Felix Sturm one was close too but they let him off because it was on a tune up show with Hopkins V Allen 3 before they faced each other so the judges gave close rounds to Oscar for no reason. This is cancelled out by the 2 bltanat robberies that have happened against Oscar in the Felix Trinidad match and Mosley rematch. At the end of the day Oscar's record will read the same even if justice had been served! Tito was a biyatch who was scared of Mosley and would never fight him. He was afraid of an Oscar rematch too because he would have been taken to school again but this time the job would have been finished off.

From that era of welters/super welters, I always thought Mosley was the best but everyone wouldn't fight him in his prime and he was denied greatness. At least Oscar had the cajones, but if they all fought him he would have beat them. Quartey was second coz I reckon he would have outjabbed the overrated one dimensional tito too! Then it is Oscar, followed by Winky and last but not least the TIT(o) man.

Oscar needed a KO in my opinion to win going into the 12th. Oscar's face looked like he thought he was losing going into the championship rounds. I remeber him shaking his head after one round while walking back to the corner and I thought he was in trouble. Bottom line is it was a great fight and I hope to see more fights like that in the future.

Everyone keeps going on about the last round like ti matters. It is just ONE round as far as the scoring system goes. it doesn't change a thing about the fact that he was outboxed in most of the other rounds. Oscar was the marquee fighter and got unfair favouritism from the judges IMO. Maybe the Trinidad fight was the judges way of giving him payback for this robbery? Also, Oscar took as many licks as he got in that last round. A rematch would have been interesting, but not many people wanted to face the dangerous and awkward Bazooka!!! When he fought Vargas i think he was demoralised from the robbery.

It was a close fight only because of the 12th round imo. If Oscar wouldnt have rallied there would be absolutely no doubt.

On a side note, how horrible was Foreman's commentating this fight? Could he have been more on Oscar's ****? How about him discrediting Quartey's jab all night like Ike threatened his family or something.

very close fight, I think Oscar had to win the 12th to win, and he did.

WTF are you talking about? Do you often imagine scenarios in your head and pretend they're real?
