Carl Froch: "Joe Calzaghe, Taylor and Inkin Ran"

Undefeated Carl Froch will either make or break his name on Saturday when he meets Jean Pascal for the vacant WBC super middleweight title in Nottingham. Froch gives Pascal, an unbeaten Canadian ****er, a lot of credit for coming over to Nottingham for the fight. He says that Joe Calzaghe, Jermain Taylor and Denis Inkin all ran when he called them out for fights. Taylor is the mandatory to the crown. If Froch wins, it's a strong chance that he meets Taylor in 2009. [details]

Froch will get his wish if he beats Pascal,.. but I think Jeff Lacy would give him the fight of his life. If Pascal doesn't fight scared,.. (like in,.. fear of getting KO'd) it could be a decent fight. Where's Andre Ward,.. shoulda been fought for a title.

Calzaghe ran from me as well. I've been calling him out for years.

He's got a point on the other two mind.

Although this has been bought up numerous times, and is getting very tedious, let's all agree that:

Calzaghe never ran. Carl had not done anything to warrant a shot at Joe with the likes of Lacy (undefeated champ), Hopkins and Kessler (2 title champ) all wanting a fight. Then there's also money issues. Which some fighters want more then legacy.

Taylor avoided Froch simply because of high risk, low reward reasons. Who can blame him. He comes off 2 losses, and has two choices. Froch or Lacy? Lacy, a man you know you can beat, and will bring more money, plus a US audience. Or Froch, who could possibly beat you and put an end to your career, a fight for less money, and also Froch is unknown to a majority of US boxing fans. Beating him would also be meaningless as Froch has not fought at the world level. Fighting him for a title however, is a whole lot different.

            Inkin simply ran. Twice.

Froch should stop talking about Calzaghe. Joe's fans won't support Carl if he pisses them off too much!

I don't blame Taylor for avoiding him though. Froch is dangerous and Jermain knows it.

Taylor - Froch is likely happening next year.

He should be happy that Joe "ran" from him because Calzaghe would of exposed him.

****** comments like "Calzaghe ran from me" makes me really consider which of these two idiots I want to lose more this weekend.

Not a fan of Pascal, and as of 5 minutes ago, now I'm not a fan of Carl Froch... and I've never even seen him fight.
