Pacquiao Looks Great, De La Hoya Doesn't Look Right

Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao is in “cruise control and looks great” but Oscar De La Hoya “doesn’t look right” according to Pacquiao’s conditioning expert Alex Ariza. [details]

Pac looked good at the press-conference and Oscar looked like he had the Flu. Pac also looks happy and Oscar looks irritable.

It may mean nothing, but don't be surprised if Oscar shows up "flat." We'll wait and see. Maybe being irritable will also make Oscar angry and kicked the **** out of Manny...but it could work against him.

Hopefully all is well and both are fit/healthy.

It's really the only way I can see an upset. It's happened before so I don't know why people would discount it. Oscar's age, inactivity, trying to make a weight he hasn't made in a long time, fighting a younger arguably hungrier fighter that is fresh and active...it smells like Tszyu vs. Hatton

The one problem I hate with this is people will not look at it like this and will just go on about how Pac beat Oscar...while forgetting everything that goes into a fight. They'll just say "excuses" instead of reasons. For instance, is it an excuse if you get AIDS from a hooker or is there a reason? like not wearing a condom and ****ing a hooker.

Oh well. It's why I hope all is well and both are healthy for fight night.

Well put, I believe if it does happen most ppl will make excuses instead of reasons. I myself will give pacman the respect he would deserve. Saturday night there will be no excuses just pure reason.

yes, Manny already got my respect for his career...but now stepping up to fight Oscar is something. Roach may be hoping the reasons come true for Manny to win, but Manny, he's just there to fight and whatever shows up, is his opponent. Manny, I assume as a competitor, is hoping and expecting Oscar to be at his best. That's what counts. The rest, we'll talk about after the fight.

I don't think we needed Pacman's conditioning coach to tell us Oscar doesn't look right. lol
