Still no response from Paul williams....

The GJ fight ******, I don't deny that, but he was coming off a loss and Williams didn't want to give him his rematch.
Mosley is past his prime but a HOF and a better opponent than what Williams faced in Phillips. Lets not forget Mosley has fought at 154.
Manuel Gomez was a top 10 ranked Welter at that time if I'm not mistaken.
I have no problem with Williams making 147, if he can he can...but he should start fighting other fighters instead of crying for a rematch with Margarito.
btw do you have any proof of williams not wanting to give him a rematch? any article, news, or any reliable source at all?Comment

Were you disgusted when margarito fought golden johnson, a former lightweight? are you getting disgusted Margarito is fighting another former lightweight in his next fight, who not to mention is out of his prime? Did you get upset when Margarito fought Manuel gomez, another former super featherweight and lightweight?Last edited by jdubb863; 12-03-2008, 09:07 PM.Comment

seriously ur pathethic defending margarito fighting golden johnson and manuel gomez, the nuthuggery level has gone really up, even most fans of margarito admitted he shouldnt have fought those two.
its funny how you guys talk abt williams fighting mitchell as a disgrace yet suck on margaritos balls for fighting a golden johnson and manuel gomez, the bias is incredibly horrible.Comment

First of all Margarito next to williams looks like Pacquiao next De la hoya.... Other than the two names that you mentioned wich were just "stay busy" fights. Margs has fought big welterweights that have fought from 147 to 154. Sergio Martinez, Clottey, Cintron 2x, daniel santos, Lujan, Danny perez.... no one wants to mention anything about Cotto fighting a old faded former lightweight. When cotto barely beat him it was all " Cotto should be #1 p4p wow!!!"Comment
