    Hatton V Mayweather V Cortez

Hey,was just wondering on what some of you guys felt on the Hatton v Mayweather fight. In particular how much of an influence was the ref in preventing Hatton from victory,or was the ref thing just an excuse.

Floyd would've won that fight regardless, but Cortez sure as hell didnt help Hatton's case. Floyd commited several fouls in that fight that went un-penalized by Joe. He kept shoving his elbow in Hattons face and neck over and over again, and kept ducking below the waist line everytime Hatton came in. Both are illegal. Everytime they got close, Cortez broke them up immediately instead of letting both fighters fight out of it. He didnt even give them a chance. Ricky's an inside fighter, and that took away from Ricky's game plan. All in all, i think Floyd still would've won, but Cortez could've reffed that fight much better.

Floyd gives cortez a bit on the side as payment from saving him from rickys deadly body blows.
