Dundee Says Size Won't Matter in De La Hoya-Pacquiao

Legendary trainer Angelo Dundee, made famous for his work with Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and several others, doesn't think size will be a factor in the upcoming fight with Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. Dundee was hired by De La Hoya as an advisor for his training camp. Pacquiao, with only one fight at 135-pounds, will move up by two divisions to face De La Hoya at 147. De La Hoya is moving down by three-pounds from the weight of his May with Steve Forbes. [details]

i want pacman to win, but i wont be to crushed either way it goes.....

he said pacman doesn't have the tools......like size?

its not that dlh is unbeatable by a smaller guy, its just that pacman doesn't possess the right style to do it. he's gonna try to go toe-to-toe w/ dlh, and that'll be to his detriment. i hope i'm wrong, but i don't think i am- this fight is a joke.....

pacman's got nothing to lose, dlh has nothing to gain, but in his bank account. blatant slap in the face to real boxing fans.

It doesn't matter what Mr. Angelo says. His jaw will drop when he sees what the Pacman can do to ODLH. JAT

Pac-Boy's gonna get rolled in the eighth. Once he come's in with that trade mark head down Oscar's going to hit him with his left hook and by by baby.

When you have one fighter gaining approx 12 lbs and another losing around the same and getting lower than ever, saying it doesn't matter or isn't a factor is ludicrous. It's just a question of how much of a factor it is.

There is a reason why Angelo Dummee (sic) isn't training people anymore. He can no longer evaluate fighters.

And yes, he is on Oscar's payroll.

Sure, in his prime, what Angelo says is true, but Oscars not in his prime.

Still, P4P, Manny is and always was the better fighter.
