His career was goin nowhere. He lost twice to Forrest and had a n/c with Marquez, he needed that extra boost to get him back in the spotlight. I think he took Steroids for a confidence booster.

Taking Steroids in Boxing is much different then taking them in any other sport.

First of all, lots of muscle can definetly detract form your performance and can hinder you stamina

And Second of all, you still have to make weight so you can even take that much at all

I'm definetly not saying it's excusable, but its not as bad as when a baseball or football player does it

A U.S. District Court judge has unsealed thousands of previously court-protected documents from the BALCO drug case including former world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley's 2003 grand jury testimony. According to the New York Daily News, Mosley testified that he injected himself with the performance enhancing substance EPO before his second fight with Oscar De La Hoya, who ironically is now his business partner. Mosley is scheduled to challenge WBA welterweight champion Antonio Margarito on January 24th.

What a ****. Delahoya is the one of the top figthers that didnt' take roids says alot and he's one of the few where people never acuse him of cheating even though he get a lot of hate from most. Clear now how great Delahoya was.
