*********.com:
Former four-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield has re-entered the WBA rankings at #12, clearing the way for the 46-year-old ring legend to face seven-foot WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev on December 20th at the Hallenstadion in Zürich, Switzerland. Holyfield, who is coming off a decision loss to Sultan Ibragimov in an October 2007 WBO title challenge, replaces JD Chapman who was dropped from the ratings.
If Holy loses against Valuev and stays inactive next year, I believe he will reach the WBA top spot in 2010.
