who thinks Khan WILL win a world title

I used to dislike Khan, but I've warmed a little to him since his loss. He seems altogether more humble now he is working with a world-class trainer and sparring with the best fighter on the planet. Time will tell of course, but unlike a lot of you I actually think Khan could not just become a belt-holder, but a true champion. Khan's chin wasn't the real problem, it was more to do with his defence and general fighting style. I've heard Roach is training Khan to use his speed and relexes to box on the outside more. Teaching him to feint, slip punches and counter. All of which sounds right to me. The punches that have caused him problems were all flush punches he didn't see coming, punches that would floor most fighters. I'm not saying his chin is great, but I don't think it's particularly fair to judge it on the knockdowns he has suffered thus far, particularly the Prescott ones. When Khan has a defence, moves his head more and stops with the gung-ho attitude we'll see how his chin really stands up. Wouldn't hurt to move up in weight either, considering he looks huge for a lightweight.

I have noticed that myself, he aint been the arrogant ****y person he was. I'm sure I read somewhere that he said Jon Thaxton and Jogn Murray didn't deserve to be in the ring with him prior to the Prescott fight.

Murray got outboxed by a journeyman in America and arguably should of lost the fight he was getting outboxed by Al Hamedi untill Hamedi got tired that kid is overrated and he gets hit far too much he has no defence what so ever

Sorry, I should have re-worded by original post. What I meant was the fact that Khan is ARGUABLY not even the best Lightweight in Britain. If he'd fought either Murray or Thaxton before he took on Prescott, then I'd have fancied either of those two to beat him.

I think Murray has shown vast improvement in his last few fights and looks an accomplished fighter. Now, with Khan suffering an embarrasing 1st round KO, he's changed trainers so nobody has a clue how he'll perform on his comeback. Maybe Khan has improved too?

The public dislike(d) Khan because he started to believe his own hype & started acting like a world champion before getting there, whereas Murray has gone to 23-0 (12ko's) completely under the radar.

Murray and Thaxton are terrible.

Murray has fought 25 fights but not one is a name. Thaxton has lost 8 times. Both have a good chance at beating Khan becasue of his chin, but Khan eclipses them in terms of skill.

To be fair Murray has not won an olympic silver medal, nor fought anybody of any note. Khan deserved the attention he was getting, but now he doesn't. Murray needs to take that attention away from him by fighting against a live opponent.

I hope he does. I think he will. When he steps up in weight, I think the punch resistance will increase. He's killing himself making lightweight.

i think he will, he just has a lot of bad habits from his amateur days and hadn't really fought any1 that exposed them till prescott. while his chin has looked suspect at times, i don't think u can say he has a glass chin just yet. he's only been ko'd once (as a pro, i have no idea about his amateur record), lets see how he responds to that in his next few fights. he's also got to mature, he's 21 and acts like a tool. he should be worrying about boxing, if you keep winning, that title business usually sorts itself out. and training with Roach can only help
