If you wanna be objective margarito fan, be fair and be critical of his decision to avoid Williams and avenge his loss, unstead of looking for excuses or some quote that his manager said in some article. 2) williams not mentioning a rematch with tony until 6/08

and trust me if Margarito is 1a PWill is 1b in terms of my bias. Him and his trainer George treat me like gold when they in Cali and for that they have my undying loyalty and I root for him everytime he steps into that ring.

Williams was calling him out loud enough for everyone to hear when he was Margarito's mandatory. He beat him. Then it was Margarito's turn to be just as loud and vocal if he really wanted a rematch. He DID NOT DO THAT. The few times he did say he wanted a rematch, they were soft remarks like that article you posted.

I'll answer that with another question. Why does Margarito the former champion who lost his title not try harder to get it back. As hard as he was on Delahoya or Cotto, when he said "cotto must fight me" after he won the IBF title from Cintron.

I think it's safe to say that it wouldn't have been that hard to get Williams in the ring had he really pushed for like he wanted.
