Should a knockdown automatically be 10-8?

    Well, that's true.

    I also started to wonder, are the alphabet organizations following the exactly same general outlines for scoring a round. We are aware of WBC:s nutty head collision point deductions. Are there more differences between them?

      yep!

      fights like manny pacquiao - juan manuel marquez, or joe calzaghe - bernard hopkins would have been wider decisions had judges scored draw rounds for what they were. DRAW ROUNDS.

        There should never be an arbitrary way to score knockdowns, despite what hard headed Lederman always says. The judges are able to use their discretion to score them.

        Also, the only way a round can ever be scored 9-9 is if the referee orders a point deduction. That is why it is called the "10 point must system".

          Totally agree with that. Otherwise you're likely to invoke a bias to pick the winner of the round.
