I've heard that under contract, Oscar cant come in any heavier than 147 come fight time. Can someone confirm?
Question about the fighters weight come fight night (Pac vs Oscar)

yea right, thats not the case.
he'll get fined a **** load of money if he comes in overweight (for the weigh in).
a couple hundred K for every pound if i'm not mistaken. -

pretty sure oscar just has to weigh 147 at the weigh in, he can hydrate as much as he likes afterwards as far as i know.
what you are thinking about is in the contract it states that for every lb that oscar comes in overweight at the weigh in, he must pay 1 million dollars.Comment

i havent read that. i doubt that because ive read about pac hydrating up a few pounds, i doubt oscar would come in at 147 and let pac come in at 150+
if you find a good source let me know, otherwise i wont worry about it.Comment

Been wondering this myself. There was articles out there suggesting some kind of rule on weight come fight night, not sure if there's anything in it now. I mean how often do people come in over weight and fight anyway? The fight is often off, so why it wouldn't be for this fight when it's of extra concern is odd.
I've still not heard about the fight night weight for Cal-RJJ, anyone know!?!
Am certainly intrigued as to what it'll be for these two..Comment
