now you're clearly exagerating your point when you probably know damn well that while Mosley clearly is not the draw people think he is (about 3500 for his Mayorga fight) he still out draws Williams (about 1800 for his fight with Quintana with Berto also on the card)

to me it's fairly smart to go after a name like Molsey NOW while there is still some value to him. To me the logic that just because Margarito isn't fighting Williams now means they won't ever fight is short sighted and very in the now because remember Margarito and his team did indeed want the rematch so much so they petitioned the BO to make Tony the number one. When the BO sided with Dan Goossen and gave Williams an optional while making Tony the #1, Top Rank decided to keep Margarito busy and put him on the Cotto Mosley card. Mind you, while all of you haters are sayimg "for christsakes he fought Johnson" Margarito literally had no fight on the horizon so Arum put him on his card hoping he would look impressive and people would clamor for a Margarito Cotto fight still...

...it worked. Margarito demolished Johnson in one, Cotto beat Mosley, and that set up a dual card witht he premise that should both win then Cotto Margarito would be fought in the summer.

Williams isn't a draw. He is indeed the 1a or 1b to Tony but he isn't a draw which makes a fight with Margarito not as big right now as say Margarito fighting Mosley or rematching Cotto. Now if they keep on this path then a fight between the two at the end of this year would be much bigger IMO
