    Yes and no.

Yes, his performance will have been affected, but no, he was ****ed up cause he met someone who could throw a punch.

that's what i thought.being 5-11 and 135 pounds has to be unhealthy, he debuted at that weight, as a young man, and he's still growing, so maybe..........

it doesn't matter - the guy has never been able to take a punch, it doesn't matter how much weights you do. the guys legs went jittery whne prescott jabbed him ffs!!!

imo roach is right he does have too much muscle on his chest and he could do with more around his legs. but that might help now and again ut if he gets caught flush hes going
        on the canvas.

one thing i like about the guy is hes got heart, other chiny fighters like zab judah and fraduley harrison get tagged and thats that. the fight is over, khan may be chinny but he likes a good scrap and can get back on his feet and make a go of it.

I think the fact that he sucks ass is what fucked him up.

He's still young, I'm sure he will make adjustments and do better in the future.

I'm with Hook, Amir Khan simply does not have a world class ability to absorb a punch. He looked shaky a few times before meeting Prescot, the most worrying was against Limond, who is not considered an incredibly concussive puncher.

Weight training the same day as the Prescott fight as reported in Boxing monthly is crazy, why he did this is a real no brainer unless he just wanted to look ripped for the fight, the way that a weights session before can make you look?!

I dont think his weight training is to blame for his loss however. Theres no two ways about it, his speed and power are exemplary, his physical training and resultant stamina seem fine. Its technical skills he needs work on, Patience and defense.

I think he may still make it to the top, plenty of world class fighters have had dodgy chins.....Lennox Lewis, Thomas Hearns, David Haye, Floyd Patterson, Ken Norton, Nigel Benn to name a few.
