It's too early to say but if Margarito never fights Williams then that is worse. Not avenging a loss? I don't understand it. I think he beats Williams in a rematch but Marg was chasing DLH just like Floyd did. It's really the same. They try to get more money. I don't see how Marg will get more money than what was offered in the rematch.

      Thumbs Down.

Notice how when Marg doesnt fight, its the promoter, and when Floyd doesnt fight, its because he's "SCARED".

Whatever. This is a dead issue. Im interested to see how many Margarito/Floyd threads have been made on this site.

Well given that Margarito had the cojones to face Williams in the first place, while Floyd avoided Margarito like the plague, i'll say Floyd's duck was worst.

Had the cojones but is doesn't want to fight him again to avenge his loss? It's interesting how divided people are when it's the same ****, different fighter.

I feel Margarito should indeed rematch Williams in order to avenge his loss, but you do have to give the man credit in the first place for taking the challenge and fighting him in the first place. All you heard from Floyd was 101 excuses for why he didnt want to fight Margarito AT ALL.

At that time, Margarito wasn't in a position where he could turn down a fight. Now that he is, he is trying to get the biggest money fight he can although he may have blew that in turning down the supposed 8 million to rematch Williams. I bet you anything that if Margarito had lost to Cotto, he'd be all up Williams' **** for a rematch. It's all the same bull **** to me.

I know whats worse...All these threads regarding Pwill/Margo..This is getting old. You can make a million threads but they all have same old arguements. Just quit crying about who fought who and take the fights you are given. This isnt street fighting..Its a business..Why blow your load on one fight..Pwill is still building a name for himself....Once his name is big enough they will fight again..Everybody is acting like Pwill is the next greatest thing to sliced bread..The only test he realy had was Margo and quintana..He's 1-1 with quintana and he beat Margo barely..The rest are old washups...Lets get a good test for him before you praise him as the next floyd. Untill then enjoy his shoddy matches with tomato cans and wash ups..Outside looking in sucks...

The offer was actually $4mil not 8. Secondly, from what im hearing, Margarito wanted an immediate rematch following the loss, and it was Williams who initially declined.

I've heard this as well. It's probably Margarito's way of saying "fuck you, I'll do what I want now." Now that he has some weight to throw around on the bargaining table, he is doing so.

How is Mayweather so called ducking worse?? When Margarito is 162 fight night. But Margarito is ducking a guy same size and ring title and WBO TITLE. While Mayweather fought for a ring title and a world title for the same 8 million offered
