What physical ability is more important do you think in Boxing

    IN your opinion

    Stamina
    dexterity and speed, handspeed
footspeed, because the two dont neccessarily go to together
punching power, but this related alot to handspeed

I dont know I'm not going to list them all. It's got to punching power because if you have punching power you can get away with alot of other crap. Look at butter bean and there's so many fighters that are deficient in alot of ways but because of their punching power they get by. At least in pro boxing.

I think if you have moderately good to good endurance and stamina and moderately good to good punching power your formidable even if your deficient in alot of other areas. I guess it works both ways though because if you have moderately good to good overall speed plus obviously actualy boxing skill than you get by with that also without having great power.

Stamina is obvious, but your ability to learn and combine all things necessary is what will determine how far you go. Some guys do one or two things really great, but the champs do that and everything else they do above average at the very least. And chances are that in one area they'll make up for what they lack in another area.

There's a few somewhat one dimensional champs or elite level fighters but not many well I guess not really. We'd probably be misusing either the word champ or elite most of the time, there are a few though.

I will say stamina. Because if you run to a Margarito or a Andrade, you really have to be a powerfull mother ****er to KO one of them. But if you have stamina you can boxed them and win a desicion. But in overall you need a little bit of everything. Because for example look at Malinnagie good chin, good stamina, great hands speed and no power. So people can walk thorugh his punches and his boxing turns to be nothing because he cant keep people at bay!!!!!

I think Stamina too. Because there's alot of athetic guys that play multiple sports and are fast and can hit hard but they're tired and cant even move after 2 minutes so all of that ability is completely useless without stamina. if you dont have endurance you dont have anything unless you can be sure of knocking everybody out in the first or second round.

Sure you're right. If dedication to craft is to be considered a physical attribute, I change my pick to that. Absolutely. Persistence nearly always trumps brilliance.

I'd say stamina. All of them are important though.
