WHAT IF: Mayweather vs. Cotto at 140 lbs

Discuss this fight, were it to have happened while Cotto was still at 140. Let's say Mayweather fought Cotto in 2006, around or a bit before the time when Cotto fought Malignaggi at 140. What do you guys think would have been the outcome?

In my opinion, Mayweather takes it rather easily. Cotto's power would have still been a problem, but Mayweather's speed at 140 was even better than it is at 147, for obvious reasons, and I think his power was obviously higher as well. If you ask me, Mayweather catches Cotto flush with some tremendous power shots, and Miguel is in serious trouble.

At 140, toward the end of Cotto's stay there? I pick Mayweather without any hesitation whatsoever.

At 147, that's a better matchup. I'd pick Mayweather to win a closer fight.
