All you talk about about is "connections" but at some point people have to have a desire to see the fighter for him to be able to keep coming back. Who is talking about Manny? Manny markets himself in a way that works for him. Who am I or you to look down upon Zab for earning the best possible paycheck he can by marketing himself a certain way? Its worked for him so far and I think that other fighters need to find their own way to market themselves to bring back more interest into the sport.

He hasnt had the best win loss ratio as of late and yet he is still in the mix. Still can get decent fights. I feel that the way he has marketed himself has increased his longevity as a fighter people care about. More people would care if he won some of the bigger fights but if it was someone else that was in his situation they may have fallen off the face of the earth by now. Thus the work he has done to market himself is well worth it despite you not liking the flash of it. Thats what you don't get.
