    De la Hoya on Sportscenter

Did anyone see this interview last night? Very odd interview as de la hoya didnt really do a very good job of selling the fight. And he seemed unsure of whether he has anything left as a fighter.

whole interview was very strange anyone catch this?

the only way to promote this garbage is for Oscar to raise doubts about his ability to fight. It gives Manny a chance in the people's minds when in reality he has none.

but isnt' that the only way to promote it to boxing fans and people that at least follow boxing a bit...the avg sports fan really does not know much about pac and would have been turned off by this de la hoya interview imo.

He's done fine talkin about how he's got sumthin to prove, Pac ditched him to stay wit Arum, he's out for revenge for Mexico, Roach said he can't pull the trigger, etc. He's done what lil he cou7ld do to get cats to take this **** seriously. Maybe he's crackin cuz he sees it ain't workin. All he has to do is let Pac hang around for a few rds before he finishes him and many will be fooled into thinkin it was a serious fight.

The average sports fan won't dish out 55 dollars to watch this, let's be real.
