what do yall think of this match if it were to get made? i think their styles match up pretty good and it should be an all-out war. hatton comes forward all 12 rounds and puts in a tremendous amount of pressure, and pacquiao fights hard for 12 rounds, pacman is an agressive fighter so it should be interesting to see how pacman handles the pressure.
hatton vs pacquiao thoughts...

Well if Manny is still the same after this upcoming beating hes going to receive from Oscar, then that fight would be fight of the year easily simply because both of these fighters only have one way of winning and that is coming forward, on top of both being good punchers. This fight is the fight that should be happening right now anyway. -
I need to see how Manny fares against Oscar. Obviously, Hatton isn't the same fighter as Oscar in style or in a physical stature but I think Oscar/Pac will still show us some things. Most importantly is the extra weight. 135 was still good for Manny and if he makes it to the final bell against a much larger de la Hoya at 147 the weight and stamina related issues will not be a problem. If Manny gets demolished inside of 6 rounds, Ricky will beat Manny. I think that will show where Manny's limit is.
Damn, there are just too many if's and's and but's in a Hatton/Pacquiao fight. Put me on the spot right now, I think Ricky takes Manny out with a left hook since a southpaw's right side is further forward and more exposed. Manny hasn't faced a guy that can throw the left like Ricky and I think that will be the determining factor. Ricky by KO in about the 7th.Comment

This is a more realistic fight than Pac-DLH by far, although on size alone I'd still favor Hatton. If Pac somehow beat DLH, I'd give him a chance of beatin Hatton. But he's gonna get KTFO so this fight won't happen anyway.Comment

well i personally think Manny has a chance against Oscar, alot of people have talked trash to me plenty of times in here but the fact to the matter is...
Oscar is a part-time fighter, who's been fighting 1 fight per year for the past 4 years, past his prime and only trains for about 8 weeks per year and is known to tire after 6 rounds.
Manny is an active fighter who fights 2-3 times a year, who can fight 12 hard rounds, trains all the time, and is in his prime.
I don't see anything favoring Oscar other than Height and Reach. Oscar is not as strong or as fast as he used to be, this is not the 90's...Oscar is done.Comment
