Can someone explain why Klit chose Rahman over Toney?

He shoulda picked Toney and smacked him around for talkin all that ****. Toney would stand next to no chance against Wladimir. Either way, its bad. If he picked Toney over Rahman, he woulda been criticized for picking on somebody that much smaller than him even though this is a fight that Toney supposedly wanted.

klitschkos want to unify the titles, so the last thing they want to do is let one slip away and get another dodger to hold on to the belt. remember before the sultan fight how many attempts wlad tried to unify? i dont think valuev is a dodger though, there are some seriously bs boxing politics involved with that one. it will eventually happen.

as for rahman instead of toney, as mentioned earlier, rahman is a high ranked fighter for the IBF. thats kind of funny considering he just quit against toney isnt it?

I've thought of this myself. Rahman has had too many chances to redeem himself. Toney although fat and old would be a better fight.
