Amir Khan Inspired By Manny Pacquiao's Words of Advice

British lightweight star Amir Khan has been inspired by some words of advice that came from Manny Pacquiao, regarded as the number-one pound for pound fighter in the sport. After being stopped by Breidis Prescott in 54-seconds of the first round in September, Khan hooked up with American based trainer Freddie Roach, and the flew to Hollywood, California to train at the Wild Card Gym with Roach's star pupil Pacquiao. Khan is a good fighter. But I think the shot he took would have knocked out anyone else. Pac was nearly KO'd by Skinny Hussein's jab. Walked right into it and was seeing birds flutter around his head.

At least Khan has taken that defeat the right way, he needed roughing up because he was having things all his own way for too long.

He knows what his weaknesses are and he'll work on em, and having Freddie Roach in your corner and sharing the gymnasium with the likes of Pacquiao will only help his confidence more.

I really hope Khan goes on to win a world title and achieve great things in this sport because he didn't deserve the backlash he got after the Prescott fight IMO.

Seems like a nice guy. I wish him the best of luck and hope he doesn't get Khanned in his next fight.

There are strong rumours running about that Khan got the better of Pacquiao in sparring.
