Times in boxing when one punch could change everything...

    Pavlik v Talyor (1)

If Taylor just landed one clean shot on pavlik when Kelly was dazed and stumbled across the ring after being knocked down once already in the fight, then we probably wouldn't have had a rematch since it would seem like such a convincing win because it would have been an early KO. (I know there was a rematch clause but this was for only Taylor I believe.)

This in turn would of kept Taylor on the radar most likely for a Calzaghe showdown in place of other fights.

Can anyone provide some examples where one punch could change it all or a if a judge gave a split decision the other way?

And what chain reaction it would have caused.

One more punch from Andrade and Bute wouldn't be holding his belt right now. Andrade is gonna have to work way back to a title shot now if he doesn't get a rematch.

I personally believe Roy could have beat Tarver the rematch, if that punch did not land.

It was the perfect punch, at the perfect moment.

If Johnson had gotten in 1 more big punch while he had Dawson hurt in I think the 10th, he'd be a champ right now. Instead, he's on the outside lookin in cuz Dawson will never fight him again. This is the 1st one to come to my mind. But theoretically, 1 punch could change any fight.

I don't care what ppl say. But if Tyson got one left hook before Douglas fell after the uppercut.

If that fluke temple shot from Prescott didn't land on Khan, we'd be looking at a World title shot now.
