So he made money, and then what?To make money.
I find it amusing that you carry on like some all-knowing **** when really you are on of the most naive and clueless individuals on here.
On topic, great thread Larry. People are so quick to criticise Floyd for what he didn't achieve yet refuse to give him credit for the phenomenal fighter he was at the lower weight classes. Floyd is the best 130 pounder I have ever seen, including Arguello.
Retired in his prime without facing the best welters, all while calling himself the best ever and degrading the guys he refused to fight.
btw, who is refusing to give him credit at 130 and 135? Reasonable fans give him his proper due.
140 and up, hes not that impressive.
Seems like Joe UD Roy has you still

no no best fighter in the world...get it rightBecause Floyd and his fans call him the best WW in the world, last time I checked WW was 147 so thats probably why they choose to argue that point. Makes sense to me anyway. I dont hear too many criticizing his stay at 130 because he was willing to fight the best before he called himself the best.Comment

If making money is why he was at welterweight.. why not fight Margarito and Cotto who would make him great money as well?So he made money, and then what?

They never do.
They want to paint him as this huge boxing star, but say Margarito and Cotto need to get their PPV weight up.
Mega stars don't need a dance partner because they are the attraction.
