    Completely different.
Oscar was ranked number one at Jr MW when they fought and had like 20 pounds advantage

I find it amusing that you carry on like some all-knowing **** when really you are on of the most naive and clueless individuals on here.

On topic, great thread Larry. People are so quick to criticise Floyd for what he didn't achieve yet refuse to give him credit for the phenomenal fighter he was at the lower weight classes. Floyd is the best 130 pounder I have ever seen, including Arguello.
So he made money, and then what?

Retired in his prime without facing the best welters, all while calling himself the best ever and degrading the guys he refused to fight.

btw, who is refusing to give him credit at 130 and 135? Reasonable fans give him his proper due.

140 and up, hes not that impressive.

Seems like Joe UD Roy has you still

I also dont remember Ricky calling himself the best Welterweight for beating Collazo or the best P4P or the best of all time.

          But carry on...

If making money is why he was at welterweight.. why not fight Margarito and Cotto who would make him great money as well?
Their excuses just don't make sense...

What money would have Margarito generated back then?? His highest PPV was 30k

                    They never do.

They want to paint him as this huge boxing star, but say Margarito and Cotto need to get their PPV weight up.

Mega stars don't need a dance partner because they are the attraction.

                    See DLH and Tyson.
