The only disappointing thing about him is his being overweight. He should go down to no higher than 240, that's about the weight he was at for the Witherspoon fight.
doesn't mather how hard he trains, he still remains an american just like you so that makes him and you automatically inferior to europeans like povetkin and me

Its sad if he is the best American heavyweight he was getting beat to the punch by Walker who looked like a much more skilled fighter to me who just has a terrible chin. If Arreola decided to train he might be better but he looks so slow at that weight. He took a lot of punches in that fight and had to take a knee, i cant see him beating someone with good defence.

tony thompson would not survive 4 rounds with arreola. this mexican bad ass has to much power in both fists. he would knock thompson out cold. i dont think anyone in the world can beat an in shape and motived arreola.

But on Tuesday, Goossen provided to Yahoo! Sports a copy of a July 31 letter he sent to Top Rank chairman Bob Arum in which he offered Margarito "a minimum guaranteed (sic) of $4 million against 50 percent of net revenues to Top Rank/Margarito."

Arum responded in a letter on Aug. 5 rejecting the offer.

Arum wrote: "Thank you for your letter of July 31, 2008 regarding Paul Williams.

"After the terrible experience I was subjected to by Paul Williams, his camp and advisor in connection with a (Kelly) Pavlik fight, I have absolutely no intention whatsoever to be involved in any fight with Mr. Williams.

"Accordingly, your proposal is in all respects rejected and I would request that you do no contact me again regarding Mr. Williams."
