    Did Cal beat Hop?

Before you go off on a rant answer that one simple question.

Me as well. Every TIME I score the thing with the commentary on mute. I have Bhop winning by 1-2 points. Now its close. But clear in my opinion.

He outboxed Golota, I saw that fight and aside one or two shaky moments he did exactly what was expected. I think he got criticism because everyone thought he would KO Gol in the 1st. Lewis exposed him and then he got flattened by McCline. I didn't see that disaster but I saw the Guinn fight and knew that Grant was finished.

I'm cool bro.....no rants today, I promise......but to answer your question......YES! Calzaghe was AWARDED the decision....that MANY felt he shouldn't have got! Do you think he won?

            Khan and Lacy

and Hatton is something of a hypejob too... his career is basically built upon good marketing and opportunism... he made it to the top with minimal talent... although i do class him a level above Khan and Lacy still

I think Cal walked into a punch and got dropped and if he wasn't dropped the fight would be alot closer on the cards of Hop fans. In the 6th JC started turning the tide and did outhustle Hop down the stretch. If Hop could have sustained his attacks like in the early rounds I think he would have won, but he didn't.

                Khan and Lacy for me.
Agreed. You may or may not think Hatton and Calzaghe are 'overrated' but no way can you include either in "biggest hypejobs of the decade". Khan and Lacy are good contenders, but for me there can be only one choice at the top - Audley Harrison. Fraudley defines "hype-job"

who was the kid that emmanuell steward was training that lost to vera? that was a ton of **** talk.

there are a few arreola fans going about now, i like arreola but he will have zero success once he steps into top heavy category.

                  how about dominick(sp) guinn?

i also have a good feeling david haye will get put out soon and end his hype.

i agree Calzaghe is far beyond potential "hypejob" status

but frankly he's a couple notches above Hatton in terms of both talent and resume

Hatton's best win? Malignaggi? i know it's too soon to speak down on it and i might get flamed for this, but Malignaggi is just not that good. he got to where he is through his mouth rather than his talent and it showed in the Hatton fight... plus he was a very savvy match-up for Hatton, Hatton's punch resistance has serious question marks around it so they can't put him in with a Bradley or Witter, but they still need him to face someone who they can build up in the eyes of the public... so the mouthy yet feather fisted and arguably prime Paulie is clearly the most convenient choice, like i said before, Hatton's career has been very opportunistic.

now i don't class Hatton as lowly as i do Khan or Fraudley, but his talent to recognition ratio is just as disproportionate as theirs if you get what i mean

                      Hatton's best win? Malignaggi?
Kostya Tzsyu, he was only ranked 3 P4P at the time and had utterly destroyed a highly rated and ranked mitchell 6 month previously.

If it had been BHop doing that he would be pronounced as the next coming of God.

Malinaggi was over rated just like Bradley is now, but if they are the second best in the division then that makes Hatton no1 and if you are so clearly the best in the division you are NOT a hypejob.
                      Audley Harrison. Fraudley defines "hype-job"
