Guinn became heir apparent for a divison that was weaker than it is now. miranda was hype job. there was no hype to oscar people knew he was getting older and that he was fighting elite fighters smaller but the best and how could a hype job loose to gayweather by one round. james toney as a hw major hype job. Since when has he been hyped? The guy has basically no am experience and is getting paid fighting the same kind of guys he would've there. Nobody is talking about a title shot, or who he would beat, in fact he's only been named for DLH to fight so he can go out with a win.

DLH until the millenium beat an old JCC and Whitaker, but did beat good fighters like Quartey, Hernanez, etc. In this decade who's his biggest win? Sturm? Castillejo? Vargas? In the 90's he beat good fighters in this decade he's lived on hype. Overall he did well but not great in this decade I'm still waiting for him to beat a prime great his own size.
