Says the man running from Margarito and Williams...lol Also Hoya is dissing himself (I guess Hoya was no risk either). He fights the smallest fighter he can find and thinks he is Mr. Courageous. The funny thing (and close ur eyes and picture this). Manny Pacquiao beats Hoya and because Manny takes risk and fights everybody ..his next fight will be with Paul Williams at same weight Hoya fought. Funny ****. Of course Williams Brutally knocks out Pac in 1st round...then the haters do what they did to Cotto When he lost to Marg. Pac gets no credit for risk taking and he was overrated...lol

      Mayweather Jr. is a coward

I agree with Oscar one hundred percent. I can't believe how many ignorant people who are out there that still hates on Oscar. The guy has 6 titles in 6 different weight classes and fought the toughest competition out there. Trinidad, Mosley, Vargas, Mayorga, Quartey, Mayweather Jr, Chavez, Gotti, Ruelas, and not to mention the toughest of them all, Hopkins. Let me see Mayweather step in the ring with Hopkins..., he'd get knocked in three rounds, even at Hopkins being 43. Mayweather is the one who hasn't fought anybody. He's the real coward. Why doesn't he fight Cotto, Margarito, Trinidad, Mosley. As for Oscar dodging Margarito, he has to wait in line. Margarito needs to worry about defending his loss against Paul Williams first. If he beats Mosley, think I think Oscar might give him a chance.

YES HE TOOK RISKS, ....but he didn't know they were risks.

From the time he fought Trinidad, everything went awry for Oscar, all his "brains-trusting" did him no good.

Oscar always fought those he felt sure of beating and always had "perks" and goodies. From Trinidad on, they rarely worked. He wanted to give a good fight, with minimal risk..........

I don't know why some of you people are bashing Oscar. Say what you want about the guy and whether you like him or not... But he took alot of big risks while he was in his prime and didnt duck anyone.. And that's a fact! Look at his resume and match that against anyones. He fought prime guys that were bigger then him too. Let's not hate on the man.

Exactly. I'm thinking a lot of these ignorant De la Hoya haters barely tuned into his career. They know nothing about his past. Either that or they're hating on him cause their girlfriend or wife is in love with the fella. When it's all said and done Oscar will go down as the greatest Latino boxer ever and the greatest business man of sports. Can't wait til he knocks out Pacman.

Floyd took risks; he just didn't take the risks Oscar and Shane took. I wish more fighters would take risks like those two did in their prime.

Seriously, Osacr did take more risks than Floyd. Just look at Oscar at Ww, Whitaker,Chavez,Quartey,Trinidad,Mosley. That trumps any risks taht Floyd took post 130 and up until his fight with Oscar and hatton, and that's just one division.
