Cannot believe people are criticising Oscar. He is making a valid point. Oscar always took on the best and, as he said, was not afraid to lose. The guy can retire knowing he fought the best at the weight his opponants were comfortable at.

Just shows you the ******ity of people on this board to take a dig at him now that he is fighting a smaller guy in Manny. The point is he fought the best and now at the tail end of his carreer, has every ****ing right to pick and choose who he fights.

Mayweather was calling DLH out since his days at 130. 4 weight classes later he managed to finally not only land the fight, but win it. If that involves no risk, what does that say about Oscar's skill level?

I had the Oscar vs Floyd fight even through 10, Oscar's defense was completely ignored by everyone. He snatched Floys baby-fists straight out of the air for the first 6 rounds. Defeinsively it was probably one of Oscar's better fights until later in the fight. And as in control as he was in that fight, I'd be pissed off to if I didn't get a rematch. Oscar knows he can handle Floyd, he did great the first time around, but to be completely denied for a second has to be frustrating.

But that's Floyd...the fact a Ricky Hatton fight took place before a Margarito or Cotto fight is complete bull****. And I'm glad fighters like Margarito, Paul Williams, Cotto, Berto, are all willing to step up to the big fights.

he's the face of boxing weather fighting or promoting. the only point he made to me is a shot at mayweather to take the heat off this fraud of a fight he created with paquiao. he has everything to lose and nothing to gain if he wins. he ****ed up this time.
