Im not sure about this because Margarito doesnt seem to ever be fazed no matter what you throw at him so not only does he beat you physically he beats you mentally but when Williams was fighting Quintana he didnt look like he was all there after Quintana started taking a lead. It could be different now but i would give cotto a chance against both Tony and Williams

Imo Williams makes Cotto quit in 10. But one thing though, Williams needs to cover up better and use his height and reach advantage more.

        P. Will had many problem with phillips yesterday.. he got nicelly caught in 2nd round and he seems to throw too many open punches that Cotto would find a good place to hit.. if Phillips was 5-7 I have no doubt Cotto with his 5-7 or 5-8 can do a great perfomance against Williams via k0 in 11 by body punches

Styles make fights, I can't lie though I wouldn't know who to pick in this fight, they both bring more than enough to the table to beat each other it's just about who gets off first. Cotto is a relentless inside puncher where Paul for some strange reason chooses to fight in, Cotto can certainly out do Williams on the inside make no mistake however Williams long, stringy body can make it hard for Cotto, the MUCH smaller man, to even come in and land anything.

They both bring venom to the table. if I had to pick one? I would pick Cotto based off what I saw from Williams last night. Paul wasn't looking too good when he wasn't throwing punches, due to his lack of defense he was getting cold ****ed with overhand rights. this is how Quintana beat him. Cotto is too seasoned in that type of fighting to allow for some **** like that. Cotto would go nuts to his face AND body and believe me Paul wont be hard to find it's just that due to his physical size Cotto may have to open himself up a bit more in order to land his own barrage and that's where Williams can impose himself.

I saw Williams getting caught with **** from a 39 year old man that not only rocked his head to the left they shouldn't have landed had he had better defense. someone with more left in his tank than what Phillips had, something like Quintana-Williams I, Paul would lose again. all you have to do is give him angles, make him miss and then counter with that right hand, you'll land at will because when Williams is punching his defense is so flawed that he isn't defending as he's throwing, he's completely open to be hit so if you can stay away from his shots and land your own then you'll be fine.. the only real thing that would worry me in this fight is would Cotto be able to maintain the required pace to do something like that to Williams, I learned he has stamina issues and that could post a problem..

I had my doubts but after watching last night's fight, I think Cotto can take Paul and KO him in the late rounds (10-12). I know Paul won and we cant take that away from him, but there were some details in that fight and some previous fights that let me know that Cotto can beat the guy.
