Paul Williams will do pretty well at super middle

    Super-Middleweight.........

So at first I laugh, then I think about it. The guy stands at 6"1' and has a reach of 82' and with the right gameplan I think he can pull it off. I've always said Margarito will beat him in the re-match, if that rematch ever occurs, in my opinion but there are fighters at Super Middleweight I can see him beating.

Jeff Lacy- I think pull can keep him at bay with him jab. Paul can definetly take a good shot as we saw in the first Margarito fight and I think his power is traveling with him.

Jermain Taylor- Again the key for Williams at any weight class is to fight tall and use that jab. I think he pulls off a win against Jermain as well, even thought I look at this as a pick em' fight, I think with the jab and the consitant pressure he will put on Jermain he can pull off a victory via decision

Kessler- Even thought Paul takes good punches I don't believe he can take Kesslers. Yet, again, if he keeps Kessler at bay with his 82' jab I think he'll have a chance of outworking Kessler. Still if I had to pick today, I'd go with Kessler because his power is far superior.

That a list to name a few but my point is at first it's ludicris to think a former welterweight can move all the way up to super middleweight and have any kind of success. Yet if we sit back and think about it, Paul William already has a Super Middle frame, if not Light Heavy, so he just needs to get the gameplan right for each unique opponent he faces.

Taylor's right hand may prove to be disasterous for Williams. When big men like him get aggressive and throw alot of punches, they become big targets.

It's tough to say how he would do against the top guys above 154, he gets hit a lot, the size and height difference won't be nearly as big as they are when he is at 147 or 154 so it's tough to say how he does.

Oh by the way, I'm a huge Margariot fan and I hate how he is just Bob Arum's puppet and he does and fights who Arum tells him to. Having said that I must admit that Williams is a very talented up and comer and I even thought I dislike him, because he beat my boy Marg, I can't run from the truth

Kessler would kill Williams. Taylor would demloish him. He'd probably beat Lacy though.

See you know whats funny, in my opinion, he will not be sucessful at Middleweight but will be at Super-Middle.

I think the reason for that is there are only two names at Middleweight and I believe he loses to both of them.

Paul Williams WOULD NOT beat Jermain Taylor. Paul isn't a technician exactly. Jermain will jump on him at points. Paul better stay 147-154. Leave the other weights alone IMO. Leave 160 alone.

Taylor doesn't fair to well against fighters have great accuracy and pressure fighter, nor does he do well when the opponents jab is better then his. Williams has all three aspects going for him so to say Taylor will "demolish" Williams is not very intelligent

Come on buddy dont be biased. Taylor's jab as well as workrate are inferior compared to Williams so how would Taylor jump him on points?
