nothing was impressive about williams 2nite

it was a terrible fight..he threw some nice body shots thats about it..verno phillips needs to retire...but was handpicked to make williams look good and that didnt exactly work...some times you can win every round but not look impressive...not knocking williams just dont see why everyones getting excited that he won a fight he was suppose to dominate??????

He was more or less a punching bag. He tried to fight back but Williams was just to big, I was impressed with the body work of Williams though. This doesn't mean he is suddenly the best Jr MW or MW though.

Actually he DID dominate, but I can see why one wouldnt be very impressed. Verno was a punching bag out there.

The performance was nothing special but his body work was really good, he seems to have been working on his right hook a lot and it paid off against Phillips, didn't like him going back to punching open handed as the fight went on though and he's still not a tough guy to hit cleanly.
