Nah it wasn't close at all, except maybe the first round. Arreola was destroying Chazz.

      On short notice? Probably not.

They had been looking for other heavyweights of better quality, they just couldn't reel one in and maintain budget.

Yeah Chazz doesn't hav the power to stand and trade wit Arreola. Chambers is a slick fast handed boxer, not alot of power but enough to get by. Winky Wright of the heavyweight division. Chambers after this fight should land a top 20 fighter. Brewster, Kingpin Johnson or Malik Scott would be some nice fights for him.

There's a lot of potential heavyweight good matchups, like Chambers against those fighters you mentioned. The division would be more interesting if the contenders would fight other contenders and fringe contenders, instead of fighting clubfighters.

For example, Brian Minto and Kevin Johnson are on a steady diet of tomato cans.

No doubt no doubt, Minto doesn't look like he's gonna change his ways buh Kingpin is callin fools out and makin an effort which I respect. Minto like makin the money he does in West ******ia fightin journeymen.

Chambers is a good fighter, he is arguably the best american heavyweight.

Should Arreola lose tonight - GOD FORBID IT - Chambers is the only hope US got left in the heavy division.

It's really f***ed up what has happened to US boxing the latter years.
                Glorious gyms closing down.
And the MMA boring-to-watch-**** gettin' the upper hand.

The heavies are the boxing store windows to the world. Chambers, and certainly not Arreola, cannot afford to lose. If no USAmerican is involved in the big picture, the rest of the world don't pay attention.

Though I'm European, I hope and pray for more successful US heavies. They are the ones that flare up the interest for the sport in all parts of this planet. Amen.
