Benn jumped in to throw a hook and missed, his whole head and bodyweight went into the accidental headbutt that hit the side of Gerald's head near his temple. A second later Gerald took a knee but continued. The 10th started, Gerald threw a few as did Benn, Benn didn't land any full blooded punches before GMAN was taking a knee and then another, where he was counted out

I know some say GMAN was damaged by Jackson or sparring but I think the big shots Benn landed, the huge headbutt and perhaps the rabit blows are what did him in that night

Some people blame the referee and say he should have stopped it earlier. BUT there was no indication that McClellan was hurt leading upto the stoppage and in fact the American commentators were talking about it being a quit job as if Gerald should have continued. I bet they felt a bit bad the next day.

This guy is a goon headbutt in the 9th there was no headbutt but a bad case od hair in the eye.

i said this yesterday the head butt sealed his fate but i think you are wrong to say he looked okay previously he was effected for the majority of that fight even before the head butt he was hanging his gum shield out and squinting his eyes

but for me the ACCIDENTAL head butt was the tellling factor for me,Valuev actually killed a guy accidently head butting him in a sparring session
