The announcer mentions Williams having the longer reach. That's actually wrong. Liston had one of the longest reaches in the division's history at something around 86 inches. That's why his jab was so good. And he was a great inside fighter on top of that. He'd be Heavyweight Champ today.
It's a very good brawl and the rematch was also another short and explosive fight.
I uploaded the video recently, it used to be there before along with many other rare fights but they were taken down for some reason.
Cleveland Williams was talented with speed and KO power in both hands, but it was Liston's chin that won him those two fights. Williams was unlucky to be avoided by most of the top fighters in his day.
